Australia Tour of India 2013 Schedule has been announced. As per India vs Australia 2013 Schedule, There will be total 4 test matches in the series. 22nd February will kick start the India vs Australia Test Series Schedule 2013 with first test at Chennai. India vs Australia 2013 Schedule, Time Table and Fixtures have been updated below.

After knocking West Indies in the Twenty20 series on their homeland, Australia will now compete with India on their homeland to set another history. They have been outstanding against West Indies as they have won matches with ease and sometimes, after a strong fight.

The team is fully prepared to play in India however, Indian players must have to do lots of practice and work hard against Australia. India have got defeat in their recent series of ODIs against Pakistan but have won the series from England so they have mixed feeling to results in this series. Australia and India will play with each other twice in 2013, as in February to March, they will play test series and in October, their bilateral series is scheduled which contains one Twenty20 match and seven ODIs.

Indian captain MS Dhoni is a bit tense to play against Australia because he knows the history of another Australia and India series in which India had to face defeats and the trophy was given to Australia. At that time, Steve Waugh was leading the Australian team consisting of 15 players.

They played matches in Mumbai to get their final frontier. Australians were fully motivated to win and they had already got fifteen consecutive victories and they were ready to disintegrate the Indian team under the supervision of their coach John Buchanan.

Whereas India had got John Wright as their coach, had been called to give some professionalism to the team and gave some key points to be successful in the series. For continuous ten days, 25 team members were set to get some guidance and training sessions from him and were decided to be continued from 7 AM to 7 PM. They were also not so effective in their series against England in 2011 in which they also had to face worst defeats of their time. But, now the team is struggling with their heart and soul to get back their previous position in test cricket under the coaching of Duncan Fletcher.

India’s best spinner Harbhajan Singh said in his press conference that his team will educate Australia how to perform efficiently in cricket. He predicted the results for test series by victories of India and claimed that India will whitewash the Australians. Though, India has records that they have not ever whitewashed any team since the last eight years. Well, this attitude is not rational for a cricketer to predict the results. However, he might forgotten their last series with Australia in which they had got defeat from Australia by 4-0 (no Australian had predicted that).

On the contrary, the experts are considering Philip Hughes to be the key player for Australia in the test series. Siddle who is sent in advance to adapt the Indian conditions pointed that these situations would be favorable for miniature left hander i.e. Philip Hughes. He said in his interview that if the track record of Hughes is considered after the return in Australian team, he had shown great improvements in his playing and proved that now, he can be capable of getting victories from any one. He praised Hughes’s performance by saying that his one day performances are going out from this world and the team is confident to see him striking huge shorts.

Dean Jones, former player of Australia, suggested that Australia must have to be cautious about the spinning attack of India as they have got some of the great spinners.
